Located at the bottom of The Heights in Woodland Heights, this coffee shop has a bit of a retro feel and the place is clean. The coffee was earthy, acidic and good. However the music was too loud causing us to have to talk louder to be heard, and with others also enjoying the place, it became loud with just a few groups of people. It is a great 3rd space for meeting friends and hanging out. The pastries were fresh off the Costco truck, tasty but nothing interesting, common items most average coffee shops have. Overall, we do recommend this place, it’s good for some aspects of a coffee shop. As a side note, they did get our order wrong. Also of note, the artwork staged around the shop is done by a local artist, which we think is great. Overall impression, it feels a bit like a retro/hipster place but really isn’t either. They do sell a small selection of coffee paraphernalia for home brewing. What could have they done to get a “B”? Put a little more thought into the eats they offer, lower the music so its a background level sound, and improve order accuracy. Also, offer a second type of coffee the coffee traits found in this coffee isn’t for everyone.
