Koffeteria

An urban redevelopment coffee shop with what seems a confused personality. Vintage furnishings mixed with a modern cafeteria/deli style set up along with music that was too loud; we had to yell to hear each other and the very crowded, limited inside seating is why this shop got a “C”. There is more outside seating but in Houston’s hot spring, summer, fall days and inclement weather, you’re really just left with that limited inside seating. It was crowded and you’d expect your “for here” eats wouldn’t be on a paper plate with a mix of real silverware and plastic spoons (because they didn’t have any forks). We seldom mention value. But while this is a popular trendy location because of it being a 3rd space located among a lot of residential urban development, the value proposition is questionable. Getting around within the outside seating can be difficult for wheelchair users due to the concrete-to-fake grass drop, otherwise everything else is easily accessible including the surrounding streets and sidewalks.
