SHOUTING GROUNDS COFFEE COMPANY

This review is complicated. It has everything it needs to be a B easily, yet still score a C….., here’s why. *(Remember, most places are rated a “C” by us).

THE GOOD – It has a great homey feel, and is tastefully decorated to give an urban-country feel. The place was very clean, including the accessible bathroom. The conversion from ranch style house to coffee shop was done well. The coffee was decent, and the staff was friendly.

THE LESS THAN GOOD – They got our order wrong, twice. The pastries are not good in our opinion, ours were stale, and seem like they are the cheap version of the typical coffee shop selection, absolutely nothing special about it. The name is confusing or off-putting. We really were not sure what they were trying to convey,… maybe try something like The Porch Brew, Cattle & Coffee, The Grind Barn or Oak & Ember…. Next there is no handicap parking, so as usual, places that are not set up to receive everyone (mobility impaired) can’t get anything higher than a C.. Side note, this is build directly across from a church and it seems as the coffee shop is related or connected to the church somehow.

As with any “C” rated place, we do recommend this shop. A “C” rating means average.
